Felony Prosecution
The District Attorney prosecutes all felony cases in the District Courts of the Fourth Judicial District of Teller and El Paso Counties. In addition to managing many thousands of court cases, the District Attorney is responsible for providing assistance to the Grand Jury and legal education and assistance to local law enforcement agencies in a variety of specialty areas including homicide, arson, drugs, organized crime, pornography, vehicular homicide, and parole revocations.
