Course Description
This free nine-week academy provides an in-depth understanding of the legal system and the District Attorney's role in that process. It covers complex and varied roles of the District Attorney's office, the functioning of many specialized programs in our judicial system, and the criminal proceedings from the time of arrest to post conviction actions. In addition, students will learn about alternative routes in the judicial process and resources available to victims of crime. This course is recommended for any citizen who would like insight into the practical proceedings of the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office.
